Sink into Self-Love: Journalling is the Key
JOURNALLING. DO YOU DO IT?
If you have been following me for a while you will know journalling is on one my favourite tools for personal and business breakthroughs. I absolutely love it and believe if you commit to going there and trusting the process, it is inevitable that you will have shifts.
Journalling is a way to connect to the Divine, you can access inner wisdom and there are so many different ways to do it, so if one style of journalling isn’t your jam try another one!

TYPES OF JOURNALLING
You can write letters, automatic write (stream of consciousness), ask questions and receive answers, use journal prompts, journal on an inspiring book, journal on feelings, visioning, scripting, using oracle cards. There are infinite possibilities which provide scope for self-care, validation of feelings, spiritual guidance, business insight, and clarity.
I recently did a journalling and meditation course that opened me up to so many new ways of journalling, and I am integrating them into my coaching. Journalling can be deeply healing, allowing for the release of past experiences so that you can move forward in life. I’ve journalled on trauma and successfully released its power over me, it can be that transformational.
When it comes to self-love, journalling can be a way to tune in to how you really see yourself, you can identify your negative self-talk. Your awareness of this alone will start the healing process, but the more open you are to asking questions, and seeking answers the more you can release. Identifying your feelings about yourself is a freeing expression of self. If you don’t know how you really feel you can break past conditioning and trauma. Asking questions like “When was the first time you felt judged” can feel challenging. If you surrender and allow the truth to come through you could gain some insight into why you judge yourself in certain ways, and that is how you can let that self-judgement go and shift into self-acceptance.

Journalling helped me unpack past experiences where I didn’t feel worthy, it helped me face off with my vitiligo and learn to love it.
Sometimes you will sit down and your journalling with be whinging, complaining, boring, repetitive dribble. That is perfect, it is what you need that day, and it will declutter your mind. On other days it will start that way and then suddenly your soul will speak to you. You might receive guidance for an issue that has been weighing you down for years, or you could download a new business idea that makes you the big bucks and impacts millions.
