DO YOU HAVE BIG DREAMS?

Are you a dreamer?  You have these big ideas (or even small ones) and think, how incredible would it be if I could do this thing… Then the voice of reality speaks up, reminding you that you are not good enough and you could never do that thing.  Ugh, honestly I have been there so many times.

For ages, I have been dreaming of creating my own Youtube channel.  Sharing videos around personal growth, focusing of course on self-acceptance.  Something has always got in my way. ME.

I’ve had this incessant belief that I am not good enough to make Youtube videos, yet again another assessment that is not useful. It’s been debilitating, I haven’t created anything because of this limiting belief. Evidence that feeling not good enough can literally stop us in our tracks.  Have you been there?

Here’s the thing growing up I loved all things drama and public speaking, I was often the narrator, and people would always tell me they thought they’d seem my name in lights one day.

And yet I let my self-doubt get in my way and I stopped myself from taking action.

Today, that all changed, I stepped out of my way, filming my first Youtube video.  It will be going live soon, in the meantime, subscribe to my channel so you don’t miss it when I  air it.  Subscribe here.

DO YOU FEEL GOOD ENOUGH?

Where are you feeling like you’re not good enough?

I invite you to really feel into this.  Ask yourself the following questions:

What are you dreaming of that you aren’t taking action on?

What is stopping you from taking action on it?

What is at stake for you if you don’t take action on this?

How would you feel if you took action today?

What is one thing you could do right now to get you closer to your dream?

Now, go do that thing.

BREAK IT DOWN

If it feels like your dream is too big, break it down.  List out all the steps that are involved to make it a reality, and if you don’t know what they are, then your first step is to do your research and find out what is possible.

Make the steps so tiny that it might even feel like you aren’t really doing anything, maybe the first step is a social media post asking for recommendations, or to write a list of steps to success.  Keep taking one step every day and be consistent, and before you know it you will be getting closer to your dreams.
